Lunch Break

Please use this time to have your lunch, rehydrate and have some time away from the screen or your workbook.

The Good Samaritan

Read the parable of The Good Samaritan and watch the BBC video.

Reflect and, if possible, discuss with someone at home the following questions:

  • What is the key message from this parable?
  • Why can it be hard for enemies to become neighbours (help one another)?
  • What does this story tell us about Christianity?
  • How could this parable apply during our current situation?

Be inspired by this story and try to find a way do a good deed for someone in your house. Being in isolation can be very difficult, so it could really brighten your family's day if you do something kind, like unloading the dishwasher without being asked or offer help make the lunch.

Please listen to chapter eighteen and chapter nineteen of The Secret Garden.
