Welcome Owls and Hedgehogs to today's Home Learning tasks and activities. Please follow any links provided to videos and join in, or watch them. And please look on Tapestry, where indicated, to find and watch your other tasks for the day.
Remember to also try and read your book with your grown up, drink lots of water, and keep washing your hands!
Have a good day :)
Which dance are you going to take part in today?
Please log in to Tapestry to view your phonics input for today and your activities to complete in your home learning book.
Please log in to Tapestry to find some ways in which you can support your child during their playing time today (if your time allows). It is really important to continue to have this time as it helps with many different skills including language, problem solving and imagination.
Take a break, have a snack, a drink and click the link below to enjoy some nursery rhymes. Sing along, if you can, and maybe try adding in some actions like we do in class.
Please log in to Tapestry to find the fine motor activity for today. Your grown up may need to help you get some resources ready, and you may need to help a little if we need you to use scissors.
Remember to hold them safely children!
Now it's time for you to read a book to your adult. Please log in to Oxford Owl (link below) using our class login details (as seen on Tapestry) and choose an e-book of your choice. (The levels which are most appropriate for Reception children are Oxford Levels 1 and Plus 1, also known as colour bands pink and lilac.)
Once you've read a story, it's now time to listen to a story being read to you! You can listen to the e-books on Oxford Owl, alternatively, there are some more choices on Cbeebies Story time (link below.)
Happy reading and listening!
Please log in to Tapestry to find an idea of a game, or activity, you could do after eating your lunch to keep you active and feeling ready for your learning.
Have some time to choose some independent activities and maybe you could practise rolling some 3d shapes, which ones roll the best? Perhaps you could 'teach' some of your toys about the sound you learnt this morning in Phonics. How about keeping your fingers busy by repeating some of your favourite fine motor activities you have completed this week?
Follow the link below to watch the dough disco song for today. Get your fingers and hands moving and have a boogie!
Please log in to Tapestry to find the story for today, read by one of your teachers. Make sure to listen out for the activity you are asked to complete at the end of the book.
