For English this week. Please research a famous speech, this could be by anyone, Winston Churchill, John F Kennedy, Martin Luther King, or whoever you find out about.
Try and listen to the speech and make a few notes about what you found interesting and/or persuasive about it. Discuss this with your parent/carer and be prepared to talk about it on Friday.
Home learning is not due in this week until Friday 4th December 2020.

For English this week, find a written advert for something and see if you can identify how it persuades the reader. Be prepared to talk about it in school.
Remember that home learning in Year 5 goes out on Friday and must be retuned by the following Thursday.
