Home learning for week commencing 10th May 2021

English

This week we have learnt about the five senses and how we can use examples of these in our writing to include the reader. We have all experienced the senses, so it is a way of making our writing easier for the reader to relate to.

Go outside and write a paragraph or two about your environment. What can you see, hear, feel taste and smell? You don't have to use all of them. Try to use complex descriptive sentences and a simile and a metaphor.

It could be about climate change, returning to school, something that is going on in the world that concerns you, you decide.
