As we mentioned last week, instead of having a grid of activities to complete throughout the term we will be setting specific activities each week in addition to our usual spellings and times tables focus. The tasks we set are designed to support the learning we have been doing in class. As always, there will be the opportunity to gain additional house points for home learning completed so please keep your eyes peeled for the home learning tasks.
Here are the spelling words for this week which all end in -cion or -tion. They will be tested on Friday (4th March).
If your child has been asked to learn their spellings from the list of high frequency words, their spellings for this week are as follows. These will also be tested on Friday (4th March).
Your child will be aware of the times table they should concentrate on learning this week. If they are not sure, please ask them to check the board in their classroom.
These will be tested during our maths lesson on Wednesday.
1) To support our learning in Maths - Please have a go at these fractions questions. (Printed copies are available in school)
2) To support our learning in English - Please write a diary entry to describe a fun day you've had (perhaps it'll be something you did over this weekend). Try to remember all the features of a diary to include!
3) If you haven't yet completed it there's still time to make your Viking Shield!
