CBeebies - Wake up Shake up

Choose one of the links below and have a morning wake up dance to get ready for the day ahead.

Monday 1st March - Phonics Input

Please log in to Tapestry to view the video for your phonics session for today.

Play and Learn time

During a normal day in the classroom, the children enjoy some independent time to play and choose their own activities. This time helps to build their vocabulary, language skills and can help them develop a curiosity about the world around them. If you are able to question your child during this time this may help them to discover, or test out a new idea.

Snack, drink and nursery rhymes time!

Enjoy a rest from the day's activities and listen, and sing, to some nursery rhymes whilst enjoying a piece of fruit and a drink of water.

Fine Motor Activity

Look on Tapestry to find the video for a short fine motor activity that you can copy, and enjoy, today.

Reading Time

Please use some time before lunch to read, or share, a book. Continuing reading every day is crucial during this time and will help your child to consolidate the sounds we have previously learnt. Please use the log in for Oxford Owl to find a book, or alternatively read one you have at home.

Make sure to enjoy some time relaxing and eating something nice for lunch. Try and maybe get outside for a short walk, or a run around, to make sure you are getting ready for the afternoon.
