For the next few weeks we will be sending out some phonic work on sounds that we have assessed that the children are still struggling with. We are working on phase 4 phonics in class but feel that this additional "catch up" will benefit the children.  This week we are looking at the "ai" and "ure" sounds.

Phonics Homework: Week Commencing Wednesday 21st October 2020

 

If you wish to look at some phonics over half term we have put a link below for Mr Thorpe's phonics which you can find on Youtube.  The children love Mr Thorpe and Geraldine the Giraffe. We have also attached the Phase 2 and Phase 3 phonics which we have been revising to guide you on any sounds the children should look at.

 

We are now moving onto Phase 4 and looking forward to Phase 5 which are new phases for the children, you do not need to look at these phase yet.

This will reinforce the sounds they should already feel confident with. In class we are currently recapping the Phase 3 sounds and will be introducing Phase 3 homework in due course. Please ask if you have any queries regarding these activities.
