If you are not already enjoying your own read, we hope you may have found something to whet your appetite from Mrs Luxford's Year 4 reading list or you have managed to find a copy of our class reader, The Time Travelling Cat and can follow Mrs Spain and Mrs Koch reading some of the chapters to you.  Members of your family will also enjoy listening to you reading to them, whatever age they may be!

Week commencing 27th April 2020

Mrs Luxford has found an amazing and very extensive reading list for Year 4 so if you are struggling to find a good read or you would like a change of genre and/or author then this is perfect for you. Remember to read and record what you have read every day!

Our class reader for this term is 'The Time Travelling Cat' by Julia Jarman.

Please try to acquire a copy as our English is based around the text for this term.  There are copies on Amazon for less than £5.00 and it will be fun for you to follow Mrs Spain and Mrs Koch as they read extracts to you!

There will be a reading comprehension next week on the English activities plan and of course, you should all be reading your own books and recording how much you have read, to whom and looking up any words or phrases you don't understand.

Please email us if you are unsure.
