Have a break and check in with each other. Talking through the play that has just taken place is important as it can help to resolve any problems faced, or help to develop their understanding of how to extend their play next time. Use this time to also listen to some nursery rhymes by clicking the link below.
Please log in to Tapestry to find the fine motor activity for today. You may need to get a few resources ready beforehand, and if you need scissors, make sure to have an adult close by to help you.
Now it's time for you to read a book to your adult. Please log in to Oxford Owl (link below) using our class login details (as seen on Tapestry) and choose an e-book of your choice. (The levels which are most appropriate for Reception children are Oxford Levels 1 and Plus 1, also known as colour bands pink and lilac.)
Once you've read a story, it's now time to listen to a story being read to you! You can listen to the e-books on Oxford Owl, alternatively, there are some more choices on Cbeebies Story time (link below.)
Happy reading and listening!
Enjoy a lunch break and then look on Tapestry to find a short activity you could do to get you moving and active during your breaktime.
