We had a great day filled with a wide range of activities including: trapeze, canoeing, Jacob’s ladder and abseiling.
We are immensely proud of the bravery and determination that has been shown, with so many children stretching themselves.
During the day, the children collected wood for the evening activity, the campfire. Before bed, the children sang songs and toasted marshmallows.
Tomorrow will be another busy day, filled with more fun activities, before we board the coach at approximately 6pm. We are estimating that we will arrive back at school for 9pm, but we will update you by email when we are on route.
In school, the children took part in a wide range of activities throughout the morning, before tucking into a delicious bbq lunch, cooked by Mr Woods.
It was then back outside to continue the fun before boarding the coach later in the afternoon.
Although we had to travel a bit further than expected, the journey was very calm and we arrived just before it was time for our tea. The main options were fish and chips or meatballs and pasta.
Afterwards, we moved onto our first activity of our stay, Wacky Races. The children competed in a range of unusual races, with the most popular ones being the challenge to make the longest line and the one to walk like a supermodel on the catwalk.
By 10:00 it was time for lights out, so we could recharge our batteries ready for another fun packed day.
