Year 4 Trip to The Ashdown Forest


This term, Y4 were lucky enough to visit the Ashdown Forest to support their learning in Science about Living Things and Their habitats. Through various activities ( including investigating an area of habitat inside a hoop and using a magnifying glass) the children spotted a wonderful array of minibeasts and a wide variety of different leaves and plants. Even on the walk there, the children were thinking about their surroundings by carrying out sound surveys at various points along the route.
