We have listed below the subjects that are to be taught today. As a recommendation we suggest you start the day with the phonic lesson followed by the English lesson, Maths lesson and finish off the day with Science. There is also a story time story for the children to listen to on the link provided. Obviously we encourage you to take plenty of breaks in between each subject and work at a pace that suits you.

Each lesson has either a video or powerpoint to accompany it.

Maths Lesson plan

For the next few days we will be looking at telling the time, do you have an analogue clock in the house, can the children remember that they need to read the clock starting at the top clockwise.

As a warm up ask the children to jog on the spot for 60 seconds - explain that 1 minute is 60 seconds. Once they have finished did the minute feel like a long time or a short time?

Please follow the powerpoint and then we have an activity sheet they can complete. Again you do not have to print this off. The children can draw their own clocks if they wish or they can just write the answers down in their exercise books.

Lunch time- Go and have an hours break, have some food, go outside and get some fresh air.

Science Lesson

Please watch the video below it will help you to answer the questions on the Activity sheet linked.
