Reading

Please read with your child daily, if possible, and record in the yellow Reading Record.

Times Tables

Please use Times Tables Rock Stars, if you still have your login, or access the many games available on the Topmarks website: https://www.topmarks.co.uk/

This week we will be focusing on the 10's. Please make sure that your child realises that the multiplication symbol does not mean that you add the numbers together. Multiplication is repeated addition. 3x4 is the same as 3+3+3+3 and 4+4+4.

Topic Based Task
In preparation for our new topic in Geography on Volcanoes, research the four different types of volcanoes. In addition find out the name of a volcano for each type and which country. Perhaps you could try finding them on a map too. For example, Vesuvius is a composite volcano and is in Italy.
