Swimming Pool

We are very fortunate to have our own indoor swimming pool on site with our own experienced swimming teachers.  This means that children at SHF all have the opportunity to swim on-site, from their first year at school, without needing to travel to a public swimming pool, meaning the children gain up to 1.5 hours of valuable learning time each week.

In the summer of July 2026, we completed the final project to modernise our swimming pool.  The whole pool was re-tiled following the instillation of a new filtration system. We are delighted with the results and the children were very excited about their first swimming lesson back after the summer holiday! Below are the photos of the renovation process.

Forest School

We are delighted that we can run our own Forest School programme in our dedicated woodland site on school grounds. Early Years experience a weekly session with each year group having a block of forest school sessions throughout the year. For more information, click here to be taken to the curriculum page.
