Below, you will find the new updated policy for RSE including the Curriculum map which outlines the year's teaching of the subject. You will also find the vocabulary progression sheet for each year group. Please read as there are changes from last year in line with the statutory changes introduced by the Government. 

The new scheme of work for teaching RSE will now be Kapow. This provider has already been successfully used in the SHF curriculum in DT and Art, and it will provide detailed, interesting and thorough units of work for the children to thrive, think critically and immerse themselves in discussions.  The aim is to start teaching the new RSE curriculum from the start of Term 2. 

There will be an opportunity to discuss the new policy and curriculum with you at a later date. Your RSE lead for Sir Henry Fermor is still Mrs. Koch, who is also the Year 2 class teacher as well as the RSE Hub lead for Ashdown and Lewes.
