Reading

Please read with your child as often as possible, ideally at least 3 times a week. If your child is reading a levelled book provided by school, there must be 3 reading entries in their Reading Record from an adult before we change the book. In addition to this, any other books, audio books, magazines that you read at home together can also be logged.

If your child is a free reader, they are able to chose their own books to read which they log each week. They should still be reading as often as possible, ideally at least 3 times a week. It is also important that an adult does still hear them read.
