CGP books have arrived. In English the focus will be on Nouns [page 4] and Verbs [page 5]. It is essential children understand what a noun and a verb are. This is the foundation of how to write basic clauses for sentence writing. Reading Comprehension is the Portrait of a Dragon [page 2].

 

For this week's English, we are focusing on editing 'our' work, and revising how are sentences are correctly formatted. This includes the use of checking for capital letters, punctuation, spelling mistakes and ensuring our work makes sense. (Week 5)

This week for English homework, we are reviewing how to punctuate a sentence correctly. We need to ensure that all sentences have capital letters, full stops and question marks are appropriately positioned. (Week 4)
