Term 4

Friday 27th March 2026

We've not set any homework over the Easter holidays. Instead, we hope you will have a good rest and enjoy some time to read for pleasure and maybe to practise your times tables. Come back refreshed and ready for another busy term ahead.

End of Week 4 (set Friday 20th March)

We would like the children to focus on the following pages of their CGP books this week:

Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling - pages 64 and 65 (paragraphs)

The children also have their own logins for an English website called Rollama which is full of Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling games.  We would love it if the children could spend a bit of time engaging with activities on this site.

Please note: We have use of this site for a limited time with access ending during the Easter Holidays.

End of Week 3 (set Friday 13th March)

We would like the children to focus on the following pages of their CGP books this week:

Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling - pages 60 to 63 (semi colons and colons)

The children also have their own logins for an English website called Rollama which is full of Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling games.  We would love it if the children could spend a bit of time engaging with activities on this site.

End of Week 2 (set Friday 6th March)

We would like the children to focus on the following pages of their CGP books this week:

Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling - pages 94 and 95 (confusing nouns and verbs)

Reading Comprehension - pages 30 and 31.  This is a comprehension based around an extract of Macbeth.  If your child would like to receive any additional help with the vocabulary involved (a short pre-teach) this will be offered on Monday lunchtime, in the same way that Miss Fuller offered it today.

End of Week 1 (set Friday 27th February)

We would like the children to focus on the following pages of their CGP books this week:

Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling - pages 58 and 59 (colons)

Reading Comprehension - pages 26 and 27.  This is a comprehension based around an interview.  If your child would like to receive any additional help with the vocabulary involved (a short pre-teach) this will be offered by Mrs Mintram on Monday, in the same way that Miss Fuller offered it today.
