Welcome to our Home Learning page! Each week, home learning is set on a Friday and should be returned by the following Thursday (unless otherwise specified) so that the children can mark their own work in class on Friday morning (we will go through any questions etc together as we mark). Each week there will be spellings (which will be checked on Fridays), a maths activity and an english activity. We would also encourage all children to read as much as possible during the week, both independently and being listened to.
Some children enjoy using a spelling organiser to practise their spellings, which can be found just below to be printed out if you wish.
We have also included links to the Year 5/6 statutory spelling list and some useful websites for grammar, times tables and maths games which you may find useful if looking for some additional challenges for your child.
