Welcome to day one of our Year 4 unscheduled home learning page. If you are reading this, it means that we cannot complete our learning at school today. However, the team have put together a range of learning resources and activities for you to complete at home. You can complete your work on the computer and ask your adult to send it in one email to the year group email address year4@fermorschool.org.uk or you can use a notebook or paper and bring this to school when we reopen.
Below are a series of lessons, which you can complete in any order. Please remember to take breaks.
Write a story about a child who gets an unexpected day off school! Focus on the beginning of the story. Where does your character start off the story? How are they feeling? Please use your best descriptive language to describe their appearance and feelings, as well as the setting.
If you finish this, move on to the build up of the story. Where are they going and why?

Create a picture of what you can see in your garden, outside your window or in the park.
Use paint, crayons, pencils or create a collage. Some of you may even use a computer. It is up to you. We can't wait to see your pictures.
