Term 5

Friday 15th May 2026

After such a busy SATs week, you'll be pleased to know there is no maths homework being set this week!

Friday 8th May 2026

Please note we are not setting any homework for this week as we look ahead to the week of SATs and know that some children may like to do their own revision.  We hope the children have a relaxing weekend so they are refreshed and ready for Monday.

End of Week 3 (set Friday 1st May)

As we enter the final week before SATs we would like the children to focus on the areas of Maths that they find trickiest and to look at these pages in their CGP books, and to review the helpful topic revision sheet they have been given.

Children may like to look again at pages they have previously completed (to remind themselves of the learning), or consider pages 88-91 which contain a Year 6 objectives test with a good mixture of different topics.

Please remember of course that the answers are in the back of the book.  Your child's teacher is of course also happy to help with any queries.

End of week 2 (set 24th April)

We would like the children to focus on the following pages of their CGP book this week:

Maths - pages 68 to 71 (Circles and Angles in Shapes) - This has been set to consolidate the work that we have done in class this week.

Please also continue to practise your timestables either through TTRS or Hit The Button.

End of week 1 (set 17th April)

We would like the children to focus on the following pages of their CGP book this week:

Maths - pages 72 and 73 (Angle Rules)

As you know, the books do have answers in the back but we will check with the children on Fridays (when homework is due to be completed) to ensure that they have opportunity to ask and address any questions.

Please also continue to regularly log in to TTRS to practise and build further fluency in times tables.
