Welcome to day two of our Year 4 unscheduled home learning page. If you are reading this, it means that we cannot complete our learning at school today. However, the team have put together a range of learning resources and activities for you to complete at home. You can complete your work on the computer and ask your adult to send it in one email to the year group email address firstname.lastname@example.org or you can use a notebook or paper and bring this to school when we reopen.
Below are a series of lessons, which you can complete in any order. Please remember to take breaks too.
Watch the poet read 'The Sound Collector' – can you see how the poetic features help the performance of the poem?
Can you use your ideas to write new lines for the poem?.
Have a go at writing your own lines for the poem in the style of Roger McGough. How many do you think you can come up with in 10 minutes? Set yourself a target and see if you can match or even beat it!
Please complete the challenge below for times tables practice - can you crack the code?
Test your knowledge on our topic of States of Matter with the quiz below. Maybe you can challenge a grown up to compete against you!
