An exciting opportunity has arisen for an inspirational and committed SENDCo to join Sir Henry Fermor CE Primary School and work closely as part of our Senior Leadership team.  

We are looking to appoint a SENDCo with high expectations and the ability to inspire all children to achieve, regardless of barriers.  The ideal candidate will be someone who believes as we do, that no child should be left behind and all children are entitled to access a full and rich curriculum.


The successful candidate will need to:

  • Be an excellent classroom practitioner  
  • Have a proven record of leadership skills
  • Have a passion for SEND and children’s learning and development, enabling all children to achieve.
  • Have high expectations and a strong desire to achieve and raise standards  
  • Be a committed team member
  • Support the Christian ethos and values of our school
  • Have the ability to engage with the whole school, parents and wider community
