1-1 Teaching Assistant


We are seeking to appoint a self-motivated, firm and caring individual to support a child in KS1 with an EHCP for SEMH.

The successful applicant should have experience of working with Key stage 1 or 2 students with emotional and behavioural difficulties, spotting signs and promoting appropriate outcomes.  Experience of specific learning needs e.g. SEMH, attachment or ASD is beneficial and you should be able to work well in teams, to liaise with parents and to recognise and implement key approaches to learning to support the child.


This position is attached to a child and will therefore be for the duration of the child's time at Sir Henry Fermor, however further opportunities may be available after this time.


Hours of work will be 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:30 to 15:30.  Term time only.  Job share would be considered.
